Nursing 

 The study plan and scientific content of the nursing program have been prepared by a group of specialists in the medical and nursing fields after referring to some studies raised in other Arab and foreign colleges. UP administration has sought to provide all the academic, technical and physical requirements of the program and worked to attract a group of distinguished faculty members to build the program on a sophisticated level. 

Mission: 

This program contributes to the preparation of national medical staff to provide professional services in nursing within the scientific and professional controls. Thereafter, medical staff will take part in the development of society and the achievement of health care requirements. This program works on raising the level of health awareness in Gaza Strip and providing the local market with qualified technicians and dental assistant employees. 

• Responding to the needs of the Palestinian society and the growing challenges of the rapid evolution of Medical Sciences.
• Responding to the needs of the local market for human workforce in the health field of nursing. 
• Contributing to the development of medical services to citizens in Palestine in general and Gaza in particular through the establishment of partnership with various health operators. 
• Raising the performance of the profession and communicating with the outside world to keep up with the latest innovations in the field.  
• Giving students the information and skills necessary to allocate nurses for future work.
• Providing students with leadership, teamwork, problem-solving and language arts skills.  
• Showing ethical behavior in the field of nursing in order to create trust and good reputation. 

• Preparing graduates to be able to practice and to help government and private medical institutions.
• Qualifying students as doctors to meet the requirements of the emerging modern medical technology, health care and the nursing profession.
• Building interdependent relations between students and public and private institutions to accommodate them after graduation. 

• Adopting the latest international academic curriculum for teaching the courses of the program and strengthening the necessary skills to get ready to work immediately after graduation.
• Incorporating clinical training for students in the university and in various hospitals and health centers to enable students to identify diseases and gain experience.
• Utilizing many laboratories and clinics fully equipped in order to sharpen students' skills in the field of study. 
• Planning to teach courses in English to raise the efficiency of the graduates to be able to keep up with the evolution of technology in the developed countries.
• Combining modern technology and traditional principles and methods in the educational process. 
• Using modern electronic media as a means of communication between students and lecturers.

Dental Technical Assistant 

Dental Assistant program is a medium-diploma program which will contribute to the university orientations and mission. This program is based on national strategic directions for higher education represented in contributing to the development of human thought and participation in the community development process. 

The Dental Assistant program has been prepared by a group of specialized personnel in in the fields of medicine and dentistry after referring to some studies raised in other Arab and foreign colleges. The Dental Assistant Program offers students scientific and practical skills in various areas of oral medicine and dental surgery. This program also focuses on the needs of the market in terms of capacity and distinctive quality of the graduates. In addition, the program utilizes technological means to assist in the success of the educational process.
